My Mom Elsie was a caring loving woman who always put her family first, she never had a lot but what she did have she would share or give it away, she worked hard all through her life, even at the age of 9 she looked after her dad and siblings after her mom left home. she did cleaning, cooking while her siblings were left to play outside. when she married during the war bringing up 2 kids and carrying twins she laboured for them all, after the war I was born a 14 year gap between my brother and sister, the twins, I grew up watching her skimp and save for me and the twins, my elder sister and brother were grown and doing there own thing. but she was always there for them, then my other sister was born and we grew strong and happy in the comfort of knowing we add a brill mom and dad to care for us. she never went away or had holidays, the odd trip to Devon, but that was when I was very young. but I always remember her cleaning, shopping, working, never time just for herself, always for the family, I will never forget my Mom she's with me always in my heart and memory.
